1 unbaked pie shell (about 9 inch), pricked with
8 American cheese slices, cut in half
1 lb ground beef
½ cup tomato sauce
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1 beef bouillon cube
3 eggs, well beaten
2 Tbsp flour
chopped tomato and shredded lettuce
Preheat oven to 425
º. Bake shell for 8 minutes;
remove from oven. Reduce temperature to 350.
Brown ground beef and drain. Add tomato sauce,
onion and bouillon. Cook and stir until
bouillon dissolves. Remove from heat.
Stir in eggs flour, and six of the cheese slices (12
halves). Put mixture in baked pie shell.
Bake 20 – 25 minutes, until warmed through.
Arrange remaining cheese slices on top and return to
the oven for 3 – 5 minutes, until cheese melts.
Garnish the top with lettuce and tomato. Cut
into pie slices to serve.
