1 cup butter or
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup walnuts or pecans, very finely chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together butter, powdered sugar,
vanilla and salt until well blended. Add in
flour then nuts.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for about 8 minutes.
Cookies are done when they are firm to the touch,
but they will not be brown. Make sure not to
overbake them, otherwise they will fall apart.
Let cool for about 5 minutes, then
roll in powdered sugar. Let cool completely
then roll in powdered sugar again.
